Communal parts of the home include a large lounge area, a conservatory room overlooking the gardens, and a dining room. The decor is warm and homely reflecting the whole ethos of the home. A piano is located for residents, their visitors or staff to use and this is put to good use by visiting entertainers on occasions. Outside there is a sheltered patio area with cushioned seating, a BBQ and several parasol type umbrellas to give shade when required. The garden and patio is accessible to all and suitable for those using mobility aids or a wheelchair. Internally there is an open staircase plus a passenger lift to all floors.
