ACTIVITIES

Here residents are actively encouraged to participate in numerous activities like, sing-along, name that tune, card making, painting, bird watching, gardening, Trips to local areas of interests, jigsaws, puzzles, boardgames, garden and floor games, exercise sessions, walking, current affairs, pet therapy, hand massages, folding laundry, laying tables, shopping, cake making, video games and the list goes on and on.

Activities with Local communities and schools- We have developed a great network with the local community including Court De Wyck Church School and Steppingstones Community pre-school, Claverham. We have partnered with Alive Activities, a leading charity providing great activities for older people and Court De Wyck school for an Inter-generational Gardening project. This project has developed a great relationship between the residents and the children from the school, which has led to an improved well-being of our residents, children and the staff who are involved in the project. The little kids from the Steppingstones community pre-school visit us weekly to have fun filled activities with our residents. Our residents never lose touch with the community that they grew up with.
